Walk for Recovery

Celebrating Brain Injury Awareness Month

The 2018 SDBIF surviveHEADSTRONG – Walk for Recovery was a HUGE success because of supporters like YOU. But there is still a ways to go to reach our goal of $75,000. Please help and donate today or share this with friends and family and ask them to donate. Maybe instead of buying a $5 coffee, you donate that $5 to a worthy cause — every amount helps. Thank you!

Every year SDBIF hosts the largest gathering and celebration of brain injury survivors in San Diego. With survivors, family, friends, caregivers and professionals all in attendance, we join together to honor the strength, effort and courage it takes to overcome the challenges of brain injuries; as well as celebrate and inspire those who are on their journey towards recovery.

Thank you to all the sponsors, donors, attendees, exhibitors and non-attending supporters for making this such a special day. It is truly a day of joy, hope and achievement and it is an honor for SDBIF to have each and every one of you there.

• DIRECT SUPPORT FOR OUR COMMUNITY: Our fundraising efforts will go to support our mission, “To improve the quality of life for brain injury survivors and their familes living in San Diego County.” SDBIF will donate a portion of the proceeds to state and/or national brain injury programs (e.g. BIACAL, BIAA).
