This is an online support group through Zoom
happening on November 10 from 2-3:30pm

This will be a safe space to discuss topics important to you, share tips, best practices, concerns, and lean on each other for support. This group will be facilitated by Dr. Roslyn Knox, SDBIF Executive Director, and co-facilitated by Andreia Barbosa, SDBIF Board Member and family member of a brain injury survivor.

Space is limited to 15 participants to ensure quality interaction. So register early as spaces will fill up.

If you are a brain injury survivor and you feel like you need to talk to people who understand you, you found the support group for you!

This group provides a safe forum for survivors to share concerns, challenges, triumphs and strategies with a group of peers. We have a loose topic for this group discussion, but this is NOT a traditional speaker group. Since this is a support group, we will have time to “check in” with everyone and chat about how everyone is doing and coping. Dr. Roslyn Knox, Executive Director of SDBIF, will be facilitating this group.

This is SDBIF’s second installment of our Monthly Meetup get-togethers for survivors will be in combination with the San Diego Parks & Red “Grateful for Gentle Fitness” event on FRIDAY, November 3 from 11:30-2.

This month we will hosting a Grateful for Gentle Fitness class for survivors, family and friends to gather together to enjoy some light exercise, good food (please bring your own lunch) and even better company!
