Howard House is a 24 hour long and short term Adult Residential Facility (ARF) exclusively for brain injury survivors, male and female, ages 18 to 60 years old. We are licensed through California Community Care Licensing. The home was created in 1986, and is owned and operated by the non-profit San Diego Brain Injury Foundation (SDBIF). Tucked away in a tree-lined neighborhood in Escondido, California, we are home for 6 residents.
Currently we do not have any rooms available at Howard House, but there is a waiting list.
To get placed on the waitlist, we need to make sure the survivor qualifies for the type of care Howard House provides. Please fill out the form on the “Enquire About Residency” page and someone will be in contact with you about your request.
