Our Day of Art event is an opportunity for brain injury survivors to engage with creation of art projects in a variety of mediums. Survivors will learn basic art techniques during Day of Art that they can use even after the event is completed.
There are 20 spots available, so we ask that you register ONLY if you can join us in-person on July 9. If you register and find out that you will not be able to make it, please contact SDBIF as info@sdbif.org or (619)294-6541 to let us know to release your spot for another survivor.
Participants must have registered by FRIDAY, JULY 5, so we will know how many art kits will need to be brought to Liberty Station for the class. You do not need to bring your own brushes or art supplies. LoveJoy Creations will provide professional art instruction to event participants.
We’re bringing together a consortium of experts and resources, offering clarity and direction, through insightful presentations and collaborative discussions.
We encourage everyone to join this event to learn how each one of us plays a pivotal role in reintegration after brain injury and gain insight to understand each other. This event is for:
• Brain Injury Survivors
• Family, Friends and Non-paid Caregivers
• Brain-injury-related Professionals, including: Doctors & Nurses, Therapists, Advocates, Practitioners, Representatives
and more!!

This meeting will be held IN-PERSON ONLY at SD Writer’s Ink Office in Liberty Station Barracks 16.
We can’t wait to celebrate the holidays together again!
There will be music, singing, good food, goodie bags for brain injury survivors, smiles and lots of fun to be had! So, join SDBIF and a bunch of your brain injury community friends for some fun-filled hours of holiday cheer!
