SDBIF’s Assisted Learning Technology (ALT) Library Workshop Session for Caregivers is on Tuesday, October 13!
October Topic: Calendar & Appointment Management: Using Digital Calendar Apps
This workshop is specifically for SIX (6) caregivers where we will working with you to learn how to effectively use digital calendar applications, including Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Calendly.
The primary goal is to ensure participants are comfortable creating, managing, and reviewing appointments and events in your preferred calendar application. Participants will learn how to accurately record important details, including the date, time, location, and other relevant information for each appointment or event.
This will be facilitated by two of our front staff to give everyone plenty of one-on-one hands-on guidance. We will have laptops and blue-light glasses available for the workshop.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE WORKSHOP:
1) You will need to come with a few calendar appointments or reminders you want to input
2) Have your Calendar account login and digital calendar app downloaded so we can access it
3) Make sure your phone is fully charged
4) Have your app store user information
