Dr. Barbara Welsh-Osga is a Clinical Psychologist, who specializes in Neuro-Rehabilitation. She received her Ph.D. from the University of South Dakota and completed her predoctoral internship at the VA Hospital in La Jolla. Her Post Doctoral internship training was at Sharp Rehabilitation Center, followed by 3 years as a staff psychologist there, conducting neuropsychological testing and Rehabilitation Psychotherapy. She has been in private practice in San Diego for the past 38 years and has been a consultant to various hospitals, schools, and community organizations on issues related to brain injury. She was a founding member of SDBIF and has served on their advisory board for many years. She has enjoyed being a guest lecturer on topics related to survivors, caregivers, family members and treatment professionals, regarding the needs and circumstances of the brain injury community.
