Every year SDBIF hosts the largest gathering and celebration of brain injury survivors in
San Diego. With surivors, family, friends, caregivers and professionals all in attendance, we join
together to honor the strength, effort and courage it takes to overcome the challenges of brain
injuries; as well as celebrate and inspire those who are on their journey towards recovery.

With each step, you help the San Diego Brain Injury Foundation raise funds to provide life-changing resources for fellow San Diegans recovering from a brain injury.

 This is our 10th walk hosted by SDBIF. Each year this walk emphasizes the strength and effort it takes to overcome the challenges of brain injuries as well as celebrate and inspire those who are on their journey towards recovery.

This is set to be the biggest and best walk we have ever had!

Mission Bay Park – De Anza Cove

This is Brain Injury Awareness Month! Help us raise recognition and create enthusiasm in our community and inspire people to actively participate throughout the Brain Injury Awareness month of March.
  8:00 AM – Check-in begins — pick up your t-shirt and take team photos
  9:15 AM – Walk begins
  1:00 PM – Event ends
  1.5 mile loop – Distance of walk
  
*please note: Only service dogs are allowed in the park.


DIRECT SUPPORT FOR OUR COMMUNITY:

 Our fundraising efforts will go to support our mission, "To improve the quality of life for brain injury survivors and their families living in San Diego County." SDBIF will donate a portion of the proceeds to state and/or national brain injury programs (e.g. BIACAL, BIAA).
